Catholic Students and the Common Good:
Building a Better World
A week long seminar on “Catholic Social Teaching
Catholic Students and the Common Good: Building a Better World” was held
May 20-25, 2007. The purpose of the meeting was to give to the 50 young college
students more exposure to the social and moral teachings of the Church in
order to contribute solid values and convictions to the formation of their
minds and consciences. Some of the universities and colleges represented
this year are:
- Fordham University
- St. John University
- Seton Hall University
- St. Bonaventure University
- St. Thomas University
- College of Notre Dame
- Caldwell College
- College of St. Mary
- Stonehill College
- The Catholic University of America
- College Misericordia
- Siena College
- St. Mary's University
- Benedictine College
- Mt. St. Mary
Students attended meetings at the United Nations and lectures at the Holy See Mission. Speakers include:
