Annual Catholic Social Teaching Seminar
“Yearning
to be more: ensuring God a place in the public realm”
A week long seminar on Catholic Social Teaching
entitled, “Yearning
to be more: ensuring God a place in the public realm”, will be held
May 22-27, 2011. The purpose of the meeting is to give to the 50 young
college students more exposure to the social and moral teachings of the
Church in order to contribute solid values and convictions to the
formation of their minds and consciences. Some of the universities and
colleges represented last years were:

Students attend meetings at the United Nations and lectures at the Holy See Mission. Speakers include:
- Most Reverend Archbishop Francis Chullikatt, Permanent
Observer of the Holy See to the UN
- Senior officials of the United Nations
- Ambassadors to the United Nations
